Friends Of Nassington School

Who are we...

We are a group of volunteer parents and carers who fundraise for the school. We are organised into an elected committee, but we’re a relaxed and informal group who enjoy what we do and have a lot of fun along the way. We work very closely with the Executive Headteacher, Mr Carlyle, and the Head of School, Mrs Campbell, and are hugely supported by the Office Manager, Mrs Rodger.... we couldn't do it without her!

What do we do...

Well, every school can do with a little extra, and we are no exception. All the funds we raise go directly back into the school – for our children’s classrooms, the library, outdoor play equipment, transport for class trips, IT facilities… and purely for fun we fund a trip to the Pantomime for the whole school every Christmas!

How do we do it...

We hold many events throughout the school year and our aim is to put on events that the children will really enjoy. As a school in a rural village, we think being able to offer a wide variety of social events on our doorstep is an important part of our children's development.

Our events this year include school discos, film nights, bake sales, bring and buy sales, an Easter art competition, Christmas and Summer raffles, the end of year leavers party, and our annual highlight, the May Fayre!

How to contact us…

We are always open to suggestions on how to raise more money or ideas for new events. We are actively looking for new committee members to join us and we welcome new members all year round.  Please feel free to chat with any committee member in the playground to find out more or email us at .
