The adults in Oak Class are Miss Simms, Mrs Whybrow and Mrs Roberts

The topics covered this academic year are -

• Pirates/Sailing The Seven Seas
• Transport and Travel

PE will be on Mondays and Thursdays - children need to come to school in PE kits on those days.

Children can send pictures via email or Class Dojo of topic related items or items from recent visits and share their information with the rest of the class.

During school, the children will be heard read at least once a week and will be given the opportunity to change their books when appropriate - they can also be part of the Reading Raffle if they read five times a week at home and can win their own book to keep!!

Children will be set homework termly on a project theme linked closely with their current learning. The project will include different areas of their learning. The homework will be shared with the whole class and we will discuss what they have done and share ideas on how they could make it even better next time!
